Strom sparen hat aber nicht nur etwas mit dem eigenen Verhalten zu tun, sondern auch mit den Geräten, die den Strom verbrauchen. Wer die ineffizienten Stromfresser gegen neue Geräte austauscht, kann laut einer Erhebung der Deutscher Energie Agentur mehr als die Hälfte des Verbrauchs einsparen. Dies schafft Komfort und spart Energie, weil man die Heizzeiten genau seinen Gewohnheiten anpassen kann und die Räume nicht den ganzen geheizt werden und schon warm sind, wenn man nach Hause kommt oder morgens in Bad geht.
